Dream Log

It was as if I had someone else's dream accidentally. Usually my dreams are a scramble of my own real memories and life elements. This dream contained none of those -- it was 100% unfamiliar.

A large office I've never seen, but somehow worked at

A job involving riding buses to buy things ("secret shopper" sort of job)

Skeletons of unfamiliar animals morphing into other animals' skeletons

An intimate friend and co-worker of some sort, completely made up in the dream, dark brown hair, pencil beard, glasses, fleshy. We fought constantly, had an adverserial intimate relationship (something I can't stand in real life). On his bus/shopping trip he bought me a hanging mobile shaped like a carosel, purchased on company funds. I said "Every time I think I hate you completely, you do something worthwhile." Which makes no sense, since I had to turn in the gift to the company anyway, as it was purchased on their dollar.

End dream.

It feels like I had someone else's dream. It felt to be a standard memory-scramble dream, but someone else's memories rather than my own. I wonder if someone else had my dream?

Interesting that even awake, you don't get to own the dream.

Isn't that a weird feeling? Remind me to tell The Hitman's Anxiety Dream sometime.

I read a novel years ago (The Dictionary of the Khazars. Highly recommended) in which two of the characters each dreamed the other's waking life...
