These Aren't Feet

Sometime between now and when I go to New York next week, I have got to find a comfortable pair of low-heeled boots and break them in. I'm in the throes of a shoe crisis. A few pairs of my pleather shoes/boots got ruined this winter because they got wet inside from puddles but I had to wear them through the rest of the day and they therefor got stinky, and I had to throw them out (once stinky, always stinky). I'm down to shoes that either don't fit right or are uncomfortable for walking. I don't know when I'm going to have time to do this.

I wouldn't mind shoe shopping if I had normal feet. I have the fan-shaped feet of a duck, very narrow at the heel and fanning out to a freakish EEE wide at the ball. I got them tattooed because what else do you do with feet like that? There is not a pair of shoes on earth that actually fits them, so I shoot for as close as I can get. Must find the time and the patience for this over the next few days.

I know the foot problem all to well because i have it too. Maybe not quite that wide as yours in the toes but definitely a AA heel and at least a c-width in the toes. I live in sneakers (and even have trouble getting those to fit!)
