Old Notes

Ever find old notes, lists, etc that you definitely wrote yourself but can't for the life of you remember writing or what in the name of God it was referring to? I dug an old memo pad out from under a pile on my desk and the list on the pad was dated to last summer. This was at work, mind you. There was no other content but this list, and here's what it said:

A- Good, piercings, abstract tattoos no skulls/death
B- Weak
C- No. Androgyn, contains whip
D- Childish, not counter-culture
E- Same as D but passable if no choice

What the hot buttered HELL was that list in reference to?!? At work? It took me a good 10 minutes of thinking about it to remember.

I was helping appraise potential photos for a political science college textbook, and these were photos to illustrate modern youth subcultures without going beyond certain sensibility boundaries.

A year later, I say fuck that. I should have picked the one with the whip. :-D

Btw, I do not think I will be making dim sum Sunday. But it will happen eventually. The spirit of dim sum will grab me by the throat at some point and resistance will be useless...
