Slipped Into An Alternate Universe

Items I can not find:

1) Silver moonstone ring
2) Electric mixer
3) Black Engrish.com T-shirt

I can replace the mixer and T-shirt, but I'll be sad if I can't find that ring. I was wearing it last week but don't remember putting it back in my jewelry drawer. If it fell off my finger (which has happened with other rings) I hope it was inside the house somewhere.

I went looking for the mixer to gather gear for making the cake for pheromone's party. I look for the T-shirt every time I want a black T-shirt other than the two other black T's I have and am sick of. Someone needs to go shopping.

My Workplace Crush made a mix CD for me!

It was completely a surprise. We talk about music a lot, take too-long smoke breaks together, etc. Today he just showed up at my cube with a "Mare Mix" of early female punk that he thought I'd like. On the CD are The Raincoats, The Slits, The Au Pairs, Delta 5, Bush Tetra, Bound and Gagged, and several more. (He's old-school. :-))

Bad Thing: Workplace Crush is moving away next month.

Good Thing: He's moving to New York! Brooklyn, in fact. I'll have a friend to visit while I'm scouting out neighborhoods, and we've already made plans to stay in touch. I would love going to see some live music with him, whether here or in New York. Today he sat closer to me on the smoking bench than ever before. And a mix CD!
