Dead Man Walking, stage version

I've been saying for years that the movie Dead Man Walking would make an excellent stage play. Now it is one, written by Tim Robbins. Too bad the rights are only available to schools and universities.

If anyone hears about it playing in the Boston area in a production open to the public, let me know?
