Skipped Words

My worst failure in self-editing is skipping words, and it drives me F-ing nuts. Some people can't spell -- that's not my problem. I can spell just fine thanks to spell checker tools, but there's no such thing as a word-skipper tool. Reading back the next day on my posts and replies, I see skip, skip, skip, and what I wrote looks idiotic and insane because I skipped words. I DO visually scan before posting, but my eyes just don't catch errors other than spelling and punctuation.
