Commonwealth Shakespeare Temporarily Homeless

I just found out that poor Commonwealth Shakespeare isn't allowed to perform on Boston Common this year, due to rennovations on the Common over the summer. They're my favorite summer tradition. I wonder where they'll go? They've long outgrown theire original space at Copley Square. Offhand I can't think of any T-accessible spaces big enough, save for the windy Piers Point in Eastie. This doth not bode well...

That's terrible! What do they need to "renovate" on the Common? It's just a bunch of grass!

I don't know what they're doing to the Common. I don't know if the rennovation also applies to the Public Gardens, but there's no big space there (that I know of).

I'm certain they'll come up with something, but I fear it will be something way out in the 'burbs, where you'd have to drive or lug all your picnic gear on a shuttle. I'd still go, but I'll be glad when they're back in the Common.
