I had been streaking my brown hair and loved the blond highlights that resulted from it, thinking it made me look not only younger but, well, healthier.
My husband does the actual coloring for me, bless his heart--but the last time he did it, I ended up with sort of blocks of blond rather than streaks so...I decided to put a dose of all brown on my hair and start over.
Much to my disappointment, more than one of my co-workers commented that they liked the all brown look. "It looks so natural," said one.
I miss my streaks. I miss the blond.
