I made popcorn balls about 5 years ago for a party. It was fun! You might want to make some with nuts as well, it's more traditional that way. Honey-roasted peanuts are cheap and add dots of color to the popcorn balls, and make them taste more like Cracker Jack.
I also made rice krispies squares. They are way easy to make. I think the recipe was use one jar of fluff, nuke the fluff, and add half a large box of rice krispies. There's a recipe somewhere on the net, likely on the Fluff site. Mix the whole mess together and smoosh into a 9x12 greased pan. Put wax paper on top and squish even flatter, maybe even using a book to make a flat top. Refrigerate. Then cut.
