While I'm in New York I need to look in the Indian and middle eastern shops for some garments that are lightweight and flowing, but with long sleeves.
I would recommend salwar kameez (pants, tunic, and scarf ensemble worn in India). The fabrics are usually extremely light, and they are often incredibly beautiful. Comfy, too.
