Cold Season

My poor sweetie is sick with a cold. He sounds like a cute little froggy on the phone. I wish there were more I could do for him, but a cold is a cold and must run its course, so all I can do is send him love and good thoughts. I could also talk naughty to him, come to think of it. :-)

I don't think I've caught it, though I was most definitely exposed on Saturday. I just got over the jolly cold I had for Arisia weekend, and I don't recall ever getting back-to-back colds. I'm just a wee bit snuffly, but I'm always a wee bit snuffly in winter, every winter. The strain going around seems to sit quietly for a while before pouncing and stripping the throat of its flesh. Time will tell.

Our poor wabbits. I don't live with mine, so there's less I can do for him. But hopefully he'll be well enough by Thursday to come over for some loving and home cooking. Hope your Bunny and kitty are both on the mend soon!

Adorable icon. :-)

I’m not entirely well, but I’m feeling a lot better today! So it was only really bad for one day (yesterday). I sure hope I didn’t give it to you, though!

I guess we just have to wait and see. So far so good. Either way though, I'd kiss you anyway. :-)

*kiss*

May I suggest Airborne, or one of its less expensive knock-offs? (G picked up some Wal-borne at Walgreens for me yesterday, he said he had thought it was about $6). You are supposed to take it at the first sign of a cold as a preventive measure. Reviews of it conflict, though many swear by it. I could not tell you since I started taking after the cold was in full swing, but I certainly don't think it could hurt.

Thanks, I'll pick some up tonight. I hate to admit it, but my throat is a little sore. :-(

Not a bad idea. If there was a pharmacy close to where you work, maybe you could get some at lunchtime?

I'll second Airborne (or its store-brand equivalent), along with daily doses of Vitamin C in general.

Thirded. Hope you and the beau are back to relative normalcy soon. :)
