I really like Michelle Obama. She's very genuine, and she always sounds refreshingly unrehearsed and natural. She seems so much more in touch with the realities of American life than other recent wives of Presidents. I think she would be a wonderful First Lady.

She often sports an early-60's retro style. When I look at her, it makes me think of the civil rights movement. I wonder if that effect is intentional.

Thanks for posting this. I hadn't actually heard her speak, before. Like Obama, she seems well-spoken, but also very refreshingly down-to-earth, and a genuine levity that doesn't sound contrived.
