Time Flies

I finally had to turn the heat on last night for the first time this season. I'm going to have to find some kind of insulating seal to put over the air conditioners soon. It seems so much colder this October than last October. I remember being at a Halloween party and sweltering in my costume (just a chef's uniform, nothing thick or bulky).

We got a lot done at tech day, though. There was an interviewer there from The Globe who talked to many of us. I can't believe how fast this show is coming up. I'm getting excited!

I'm so glad that this year's halloween party won't be so disgustingly hot! I'd rather be chilly and have to put on more clothes than to know I can't take off enough. ;)

You could _try_. :-)

My theory is that if I’ve gotten down to skin and am still hot, I can just ask my friends to rub ice cubes all over me.

The Globe? Cool! Maybe they'll feature PMRP in their new 'g' section (debuting Friday)?

'g'? are they relaunching GO! ? i miss GO!.

The Globe is combining Sidekick with all of the various Monday-through-Saturday feature sections -- Living/Arts, Food, Style, Movies, etc.

i'm surprised you haven't had it on before now! ours has been on for a couple of months (though i'm not sure it's really been "going" - it's just been set at a specific temperature)...though this is largely due to the hog, and the fact that he has to be kept at a temperature of around 72 or above all the time.

The image of you using an insulating seal to keep warm in the winter is amusing.

Now I'm imaging a fat, happy seat blocking the AC unit and clapping it's flippers. :-)

Do you need help taking the air conditioners out? That's probably more effective than trying to insulate them in place.

I don't want to take them out because we don't have anywhere to store them (there are 3 total, and one is gigantic)). Better to just cover them like we did last year.
