Pick-Me-Up

I found a $20 bill on the sidewalk this evening, outside the closed-for-the-night bakery in Ball Square before rehearsal. No one was frantically searching their pockets nearby, and I did look around for that before pocketing it. Well, thank you, universe! That's never happened to me before. It put a spring in my step tonight. And I really needed a little kiss of happy providence like that, to keep m'spirits up...

Rehearsal was great. :-)

It's always so cool when that happens.
The opposite, of course, like losing a $10 bill somewhere last week, wasn't as much fun.
But I looked at it this way: for all the times I've found money on the street, this was my chance to give someone else that same thrill.
