Body Fail

Having to sit out a performance of a play due to sickness is bad enough (and this is the first time in my entire theatre-rich life that this has happened), but seeing CDK in his gorgeous '30s costume and taking a few quick pictures of him on our balcony was what pushed me to tears. Bronchitis is torture. I can walk and move but I can't breathe and can't go 2 seconds without doubling over coughing and wheezing. I would ruin the show if I was there, onstage or off.

Love to Jay, Jude, CDK, Neil, Rob, Sarah and my entire theatre family. I can't believe this happened when it did.

Break lots of legs, and I'm with you in my heart.

I am so sorry that sickness struck you just at this time. Sorry you have to miss the performance, and incidentally sorry that I too shall miss it due to illness. I'm sending hugs and love your way, with wishes for a speedy healing.

Being sick always sucks, but being sick when there's something cool you desperately want to be doing -- and that most of your friends are doing -- that sucks triple!
