Here's A Happier One

A rare shot of Benjamin's face. He's notoriously hard to photograph.

This is the way he insists on drinking water. Not a bowl, a cup. And I have to fill it to the top for him. That's his dedicated cup that we don't use for ourselves anymore. He looks very serious about his water. My eccentric little guy. :-)

Sidney insists on drinking from the tap. So any time someone goes to the bathroom, he runs in ahead of them, leaps up on the sink, and looks at the expectantly.

What a handsome cat!

Sherlock likes to drink out of the WaterPic on the bathroom counter. Not sure why that's different than any other receptacle, but I'm sure there's a cat reason too hard for my human brain to fathom.

Cats are so idiosyncratic about water!

Oh, he's absolutely adorable!
Reminds me of a kitty I had that we named Boots.
Luxurious whiskers!

My aunt had a cat (another tuxedo, coincidentally) who mostly drank from the bathtub faucet. As soon as anyone got home, Ziggy would run to the downstairs bathtub and stand whining on the tub ledge until someone turned the faucet on to trickle.

My Siamese who passed away this past summer was a shameless toilet drinker. We often forgot to close the lid, and then we'd see this elegant creature busy with his head in the commode lapping away. It was equal parts funny and gross. :-)

Yeah, Coal Train will only drink from a cup or the faucet. No bowls for him. He also won't drink from the kitty fountain, even though the other two love it.
