I liked the next one too, when 1967 predicts 2000, with their own quirky version of online shopping and banking, and email that gets printed out...surprisingly close.

The third outfit looked like something Halston might have designed in the 1970's. The heels were spot on, though.

Of course, both beg the question of whether it was predictive, or whether designers mined this sort of material for inspiration.

I also looked at other videos after this one. One of them was a 1936 propaganda cartoon decrying Roosevelt's programs that lifted America out of the depression. It sounded very much like present day war cries of conservatives - and for probably verymuch the same reasons. This film gives the blessing to capitalism, but fails to show the resultant evils of it. I strongly suggest that everyone watch this fashion film, then while you are in that program, check out some of the others in that area.

I like that the chief concern of women in 2000 is still being able to go from morning through to evening without significantly changing her outfit, like Barbie.
