I Love When Big Strong Men Help Me
This morning the very awesome and strong
anomie666 came over to help the very awesome and strong
beowabbit carry my new dishwasher up my very un-awesome stairs to the 3rd floor. They did it! It's now in the kitchen, waiting for me to clear out the cubby where it's going to live.
After that,
beowabbit and I walked to Tags to look for a few things for PMRP. Did get one of them, and will keep looking for the others.
It's a beautiful day, and I'm feeling better because I got a letter saying that my unemployment benefits have been approved and will start next week. Thank goodness.

Next: I know what you mean about "big strong men". I shopped yesterday for the whole month, filled my "little old lady wagon" to overflowing with the bundles, then had a hell of a time managing the wagon. My friend Bob, who lives upstairs, helped me to the elevator, then came to the apartment with me and helped unload and put away. He's a big strong man who is 65+ years of age. Handsome, too.

And little strong men can be fun, too. The first guy I dated seriously, when I was 19, is 5' 2", but he was strong. He could pick up the younger, skinner, 130-pound me that I was then.
