Last night I finally got around to posting my resume on Monster.com, never expecting that today I would get calls from three headhunters. It made me feel good after a miserable weekend, finding out that my skills really are wanted out there. I've signed on with all of them, and will be interested to see what leads come out of it.

Meanwhile, I temped for half the day and a surprisingly nice publishing house. I'd expected a brutal corporate jungle, but instead found a very down-to-earth, human-oriented company whose employment website I'm going to watch. I'll be there for the next 3 weeks, barring the (hopeful) possibility of a perm position surfacing.

I'm having my first Murder In The Cathedral meeting with [livejournal.com profile] lillibet tomorrow. Things are rolling along so quickly -- I haven't had time to even miss the last show, which is good (I'm a pain in the ass when I'm missing something). Plus, I get to see you beloved nuts all the time, which is even better. Sorry I missed the boozefest at the Android's house last night. A hung-over Spence filled me in this morning on College Ave!
