It was over much too quickly, but this was definitely a weekend's worth of happy memories being made.
My sweet
beowabbit gifted me with my first portable MP3 player and yet another cool book! Whither goeth
beowabbit, so goeth gadgets and gizmos, and he is molding me in his image! *kiss*
pheromone's parties are always a blast, and this one was no exception. She turned her apartment into a beach so that party-goers could show up in skimpy summer attire in winter-y March. My boyfriend and I both wore sarongs. :-) He even
danced. And
sang. It happened right around the time that pigs flew over the house, and when the mysterious ice sheets covering Hell were pronounced safe for skating. Lots of sexy people kept us out way past bedtime. More surprising still -- I made it home with my shoes on.
In the morning, after taking care of some unfinished bidness, we cooked up bacon and eggs, broke into the cryogenic pumpkin pie, and had breakfast al fresco on the balcony! Ah, the dawn of spring. It was so delightful to be soaking up sunshine over a tasty meal. This needs to happen more as the weather gets warmer.
I had a Theatre@First meeting in the afternoon, and Wabbit hopped over to Diesel to do online-y things. The meeting was productive and it was great to see everyone. We have a fantastic summer one-act festival planned for you.
Afterwards he swung by to collect me, and we were off to see
300. Neither of us had gotten the memo about the correct time, so we were a few minutes late meeting up with
barodar,
joyeous, and
_mattt, who saved seats for us. Onscreen, heads rolled and chest-muscles rippled. We wound down afterwards with drinks and snackies at a nearby restaurant, unseemly conversation ensuing. Just the way I like it.
I'll have another weekend like that, please!
