I'm A Cartoon!!!
Sep. 24th, 2007 02:00 pmI can barely believe this, but a dream I submitted was illustrated in the web comic slowwave.com. My dream is entitled Tortilla Chip Provider. What an enormous OMFG moment!
This has long been my favorite web comic, and I think it's a brilliantly creative idea that lets aficionados of the comic be involved. I submit dreams every now and then, but it's not often that I have dreams that would convert well to a comic strip (even the classic Very Easy wasn't one I submitted, since I just couldn't see it comicized easily). I think I've submitted 4 altogether over the last two years or so.
I clicked on it today like I do every week if I remember, and my first thought was "I've read this one before." Then it was "The woman looks vaguely like me." Then "Whoa!"
I might just buy the original (all the originals are for sale). But then, I think I'd also love it if some stranger bought it instead. In any case, it is complete, undiluted coolness when you click on your favorite comic, and you're in it. :-)
