Attack of The 50-Foot Turkey
Nov. 22nd, 2007 01:23 pmWow. 22 pounds never feels very heavy if it's a child or dog, but when it's a decaptiated and slippery turkey, it feels like lifting a sack of cinder blocks. If it had been any heavier, I couldn't have gotten it from sink to pan to the oven. But in the oven it is.
Strange -- I took out the bag of giblets to cook, but there was no neck inside like there usually is. I looked everywhere, but there wasn't one in there as promised on the bag. I guess the processing factory messed up and never got it in there. I don't eat that or the giblets, but other folks do. Oh well, at least I have the giblets from the bag.
Me needs lunch now.
