The snowstorm didn't stop a delightful weekend of Wabbity goodness. Neither did a disabled Wabbitmobile; he treked here by T and foot, not entirely dressed sufficiently for the weather, I might add:-) He brought me chocolate and Philip Pullman books! We needed a quick dinner, so we bundled up and went around the corner to SoundBites. I am really liking their dinner food. My alfredo was heavenly 'licious. Then we called a cab for the evening's main event.
Many thanks to
majes,
jasra and Company for a crazy-sexy-festive circus of a party, which is just how a party is spoda be, IMO. Drinks were drunk. Freezing bowls of libations were passed around. Snuggles and kisses were had. We got home late, and were up enjoying the night even longer. Devil Boy, you thow a good hoedown. :-)
This morning I gave
beowabbit his Christmas presents (mine is a sewing machine that we'll be shopping for together). I'm so glad he liked the fuzzy and soft cashmere sweater I gave him! I knew the minute I saw it that the dove gray color would look smashing on him, and it does. I also gave him a "countdown 'til Bush is out of office" calendar and two books. Then we joined the brave winter souls back again at SoundBites for brunch. Coming home with a bag of melting salt, he grabbed a shovel and started shoveling my sidewalk! (He's my knight.) I joined in, along with the downstairs boys. Then he had to head home to deal with his car and housework. Lots of kisses went with him.
Now
vanguardcdk is about to go pick up the Chinese food we ordered. This is how a storm weekend should be. :-)
