Crackberry Is Love
Jun. 12th, 2008 03:01 pmIf you'd asked me before I had a mobile phone that I could text on, I would have told you that text messaging was the most redundant and stupid thing since George Bush. I couldn't understand laboriously typing out a message when you had a phone right there in your hand. But now that I've had my Blackberry for over a year, I don't know how I'd live without text messaging, and
beowabbit found a very nice way to help me understand what I'd been missing.
Every day we send each other little love messages. I'll hear the 'Berry beeping around mid-morning, and there will be a delightful little expression of love waiting for me. We exchange these at any time of the day or night, whenever we're feelin' the love and wanting to send it. Sometimes they're in LOLCAT. Sometimes they intertwine our political geekery ("Polls strongly indicate that I love my sweetie.") Always, they make me feel bouncy and smiley. The messages feel like my heart just drank a delicious glass of fresh-squeezed juice. Full of vitamins for the soul, and plenty of sweetness. :-)
