Much Ado About Everything

beowabbit. We are all kinds of excited because we'll be getting to work together on the PMRP Tomes of Terror III Halloween show. My sweetielove has landed his first acting role with PMRP/T@F! He will be Alfred in the Poe classic The Tell-Tale Heart. I opted not to audition for a voice role this time, and instead I get to be a Foley Captain (live sound effects) for the light-hearted Halloween episode of Baby Snooks. I'm thrilled with the teammates I'll be working with. *waves*
It's been a very busy weekend and I'm way behind on LJ. On Friday evening I went withvanguardcdk and joyeous to see Hamlet 2. I think it's the kind of movie that you have to be in the mood for, but I was totally in the mood and it was side-splittingly funny. I'm still singing "Rock Me Sexy Jesus" in my head. It's like Waiting for Guffman meets High School Musical meets Borat. See it!
Last nightbeowabbit and I had a snuggly dinner at SoundBites (yeah, we're that couple who sits on the same side of the table), and then went to an End of Summer party in Melrose. Lots of nice people there, but we couldn't find a comfortable place where we could avoid both heat (for me) and mosquitos (for him), so we ended up leaving at a people-with-toddlers hour and hanging out with vanguardcdk at home.
We're off to another party tonight. Then first read-through tomorrow night!
