Autumn Evening
Oct. 8th, 2008 02:53 pmWe had a very good rehearsal for Tomes of Terror III last night, and I got to hear my sweetie do his role of Alfred while I helped make rudimentary foley noise. It's going to be a great show, I think. We have four performances this year, and I hope we get nice, large crowds.

beowabbit and I went back to my house to watch the last half hour of the presidential debate. Sharp cheddar cheese, bourbon and politics -- that's just how we like it! I still want to hit Youtube and watch the first hour. One more to go, and things are looking good this week.
We're in that merciful but brief window of time that comes twice each year when neither air conditioning or heat is needed. But it was leaning pretty close to "need heater" temperature last night. Wabbit is like a cozy hot water bottle, but when I went to the bathroom before sunrise, it was really cold.
vanguardcdk and I tend to crank the heat in winter higher than stoic native New Englanders do (how Yankee do you have to be to keep your heat at 50F?), but it's going to cost. At least its gas, not oil. I'm wondering if maybe a small 2nd job of some sort this winter would be a good idea.
