Two Treats
Nov. 17th, 2008 04:01 pmOn Saturday,
beowabbit and I were intensely impressed by the performance of Rimers of Eldritch that we went to see. One actor gave the strongest performance that I've ever seen in a Theatre@First show (and I've either seen or been in every single one). There were quite a few amazing performances, and I hearby give kudos to the cast, crew and director on a job very well done. If you're local and haven't seen it, you still have another weekend. Details and reservation info in the link.
The next morning our bellies got a grand show as well, at Firefly's BBQ in Quincy, where their brunch buffet is the best kept secret in Greater Boston. 'Tis a secret no more to us, and we feasted on the meat-heavy bonanza of yummy brunchables (bacon, sausage, biscuits-n-gravy, chicken, beef, etc). It would also be fine for ovo-lacto folks (they have waffles, fruit, cornbread, an omlette station and red velvet cake :-).
Good weekend. Oh yes.
