Wabbit With The Flu

Poor beowabbit is sick with an absolutely terrible flu. I went over to bring him some juice and yogurt and sports shakes, and it was the sickest I've ever seen him. He is probably past the worst of it, but at last check he was still feeling miserable. Ordinarily he throws colds and minor flues off pretty quickly, so this strain must be pretty ferocious to take him down for multiple days like this. His skin was just burning up, but, trooper that he is, he still managed some smiles from his sick bed.

His housemate cathijosephine has been helping him with hot toddies and check-ins, and I'm going over later with flu meds for him and will stay the night. I was relieved to find he was well enough to be on the computer last night (he sent me some astronomy links). There's no telling whether he's still contagious or not, though, so it might be prudent for me to make a nest on his bedroom floor rather than share the bed, but we'll see. If you're friends with him, a get-well email or other ping would cheer him muchly.
