Natal Anniversary

My black squirrel is alive and well and foraging in my back yard! I get to go to a first rehearsal for a new PMRP show this afternoon, in which I have a voice role (Which voice role? Hint: it's not a flavor). Afterward, I'm going out to dinner and to see Avatar with my honeywuzzle. It's going to be a good birthday!

Technicolor Of A Different Kind

The warnings were true. The digital 3-D version of Avatar we saw tonight gave me such severe motion sickness that I had to rush to the bathroom about a third of the way into it to...no lie....throw up. I've seen lots of digital 3-D and this has never happened before. I had to take my 3-D glasses off, and had my eyes closed for much of it. The movie is awesome in lots of ways, but if you know you're predisposed to motion sickness, it would likely not be worth it for you to see it. Acrophobes should also take warning. It's very beautiful, but you might find yourself over the porcelain!
