A Nice Danish Cast

Given the difficult roller coaster that June was, I haven't had a chance to talk about how amazing and talented my cast is. They're the cast of A Nice Danish Boy in the T@F Festival, and I couldn't have asked for a better team.

This festival rehearsal period has been painful to me, because with the conflicts and burdens of summer session classes and my struggle to end the longest unemployment stretch of my life, I haven't been able to give the play the focus and attention it deserves. I've been avoiding saying that here, but there it is. The best thing I've done for this play is picking a cast of kick-ass T@F veterans who know what they're doing and who have breathed life into their hysterical characters like the big bad wolves they are. The help of my RA beowabbit has also been indispensable. School kept me from yet another all-cast run last night, but I'm told that barumonkey did a brilliant one-man version of the play, to the company's delight. I won't direct next year -- this split focus just isn't fair to any cast, but I'm eternally grateful to my talented cast and the production team for their hard work and dedication.
