Plum Pickins
Jul. 29th, 2010 11:00 pmI trash picked a fully functional skateboard on my way home from school tonight. I didn't want it for myself. You see, it just looked so sad there on the pile of cast-off household bric-a-brac...so...forsaken. It reminded me of Toy Story 3. So I brought it home to give away.
It works just fine, at least on the hardwoods of my living room. Anyone want it, for yourself or for your kid? I have no clue why they threw it away. Maybe the time had come for setting aside childish things; a time for casting off the remnants of youth. Or something. I have no idea. But anyway, it's up for grabs. If more than one person wants it, we might have to have a haiku contest.
