My Smiling Valentine

beowabbit is too enormous not to share. This was a Valentines Day that my body did not cooperate with, in spite of our romantic plans. Those plans turned into the in-sickness-or-in-health kind of romantic. Which is really the most romantic of all, when you get right down to it.
On Monday I got sick. It was the gross kind of sick that I'm usually inclined to hide. But I couldn't, and he stayed right by me the whole time, keeping me warm and hydrated and loved. I was too sick to eat. Too sick for Valentines sex. Too sick to do more than let him take care of me, and he took care of me with love lighting his eyes. I will always, always do the same for him.
I love this userpic of him. That's the smile that radiates sunshine and joy into my life every day. Even just looking at the userpic now, I'm smiling back at him.
