Heehee! Yep, it can be expensive. But because I have very little to spend, I've hunted out lots of cheap eats, and where the free things are. One favorite hangout is the dog run in Washington Square Park, where I can watch the doggies for free. Unfortunately I don't really know many people there so there's no getting around the high hotel rates, but I love it so much that its worth it when I can afford it. :-)
