We had packed house for opening night of C'est Levine!: An Evening of One-Act Plays by Mark Harvey Levine. The show went beautifully and was very warmly received. My beloved [livejournal.com profile] beowabbit was there in the audience, waiting for me to jump into his arms after the show. This userpic is me in one of my characters. Apparently we made very good money, which is just what we need. I hope local readers will come to the show. Details are at [livejournal.com profile] theatreatfirst. I think its safe to say that we failed to suck. :-)

I didn't go out with the Firsties to Rudy's afterwards because I'm still on that introversion bender. So instead, [livejournal.com profile] beowabbit walked me home, and I sent a full e-mail report of the night to Mark Levine. I do plan to go with the gang to the Harry Potter extravaganza tonight after our show.

On the suggestion of my castmate Nick, I'm going for my first acupuncture treatment today. If it helps, I will weep for relief. If you have any positive acupuncture experiences to share, I'd love to hear them (but not negative ones just now please. Today, I need to believe).

Anyway, we have a show!

A show indeed! I'm so glad I'm getting a chance to work with you. Well, sort of, since we're in different shows. Some time soon we'll have to have an actual scene together!

I went to accupuncture for the first time several years ago for a thumb tremor. It was cured in 4 appointments! I had a really good experience; I found the process very relaxing, and it also helped with menstrual cramps and allergies. I even got an old scar desensitized. Although not everyone responds to accupuncture, it's definitely worth trying.

My friend Bob (in my gaming group) has had pretty decent acupuncture results. They didn't completely cure his pain (bad shoulder muscle aches) but they did help.

Glad about the show!

I miss my acupuncture appointments. I used Robin Sessa in Arlington. She's very good.

I'm glad to hear that opening night went so well! I was supposed to come see the play tonight with [personal profile] marius23 and some of his people, but I'm not well enough to attend. :-( See my most recent LJ post for the reason why.

Good luck with the acupuncture!

My acupuncturist totally helped with some severe joint and muscle pain, and absolutely improved my quality of life. I highly recommend it--I'm still feeling the benefits years later.

Since May, I've seen a Japanese acupuncturist every 3-4 weeks. Initially, I went to her to cure nausea and anxiety, and I still see her for general de-stressing and balancing my chakras. Because she's Japanese, she and her assistants perform not just needle insertion at acupressure points, but also moxification. She's in Newton, but travels internationally to clients and I recommend her 100 percent. Email me for more information.
