Topsfield Fair

beowabbit and I had a glorious day at the Topsfield Fair yesterday! We met up with joyeous and _mattt part way through and strolled around and ate endlessly. So much to tell, it was a true country fair with all the trappings and more. I'll write a more detailed post, but we're about to make banana pancakes and bacon, so I'll let the pictures do the talking for the moment.

This was, I believe, a Hawk Owl. I have a thing for larger-than-life animals, and this certainly was one.
