Dinner Is Love

My sweet beowabbit made me delicious beef stroganoff for dinner last night. He loves cooking in his crockpot, and this was my favorite so far. The recipe was very simple, but very creamy and flavorful. It's such a lovely feeling, cooking for someone or being cooked for. When I was single (forever and ever and ever, it seemed, at the time), I would daydream about cooking a meal with someone I loved and who loved me. In every sense, the daydream came true.

When I was in my twenties, I thought romance was flowers, gifts and to be taken out someplace VERY expensive. Now, my boyfriend and I share a little romance every night as we prepare dinner together. It is the best way to unwind.....chopping vegetables, cooking and talking about our day.

I'm happy for you that you found someone who makes your daydreams come true!
