It is never easy to lose a fur-friend, especially a beloved cat who has lived with you for several years. It is sad that they do not live as long as we do. They bring us so much affection, and provide such an opportunity for us to show all our affection without pretense that when they leave us they leave a big hole in our lives. Yes, I have lost pets to old age, sickness and death. And no, it does not get easier at all. I am so happy that Rowley has re-animated!
