At least CVS admits what the giant pharmaceutical corruption machines won't!

I know you've had a really bad experience recently, but some of us couldn't function day to day without medications invented by big pharma... it's not a simple thing.

Brilliant. I spotted that the other day, but couldn't get a decent picture. May I post this to Facebook and Google+?

Don't get me wrong, I don't mean to take medicine away from those who benefit from it. I just thought the broken sign was funny.

Absolutely! I was lucky to be there at the right the right time for the lighting to allow a good picture.

I've sent Adam Gaffin a link to this photo, so you may see it reproduced at UniversalHub.com soon.

ETA: And he just wrote back to me, asking if you are giving him permission to run it there.

I agree with you that it's great that so many treatments exist without which many would be in a lot of pain or dead, but imho, the companies themselves are still mostly evil. It's not about an evil product, but rather evil corporate practice. (For another example of good product/bad company, see baby formula.)

I'm certainly grateful for allopathic medicine, but I still hate the healthcare system in the US with a passion.

And the picture made me LOL. Perfect caption and userpic, too. :)

I agree completely, actually. This is going to sound really weird, but when I got these comments in my inbox just now, I couldn't remember having written the post they were responding to. I had a migraine this morning and had just taken Relpax so I guess that's where the sentiment came from, but... I actually wrote that comment?? I must've been really out of it... FWIW, I apologize, [livejournal.com profile] plumtreeblossom -- the sign is funny :)
