Little Love

This is one of the very few pictures I have of BenBen. I don't know why, but he disliked cameras or having his picture taken. Maybe it was the flash, but he recognized cameras without them flashing, so maybe it was something else. When he saw one he would turn his back or tuck his face down so you couldn't see it. I stopped trying after a while since it seemed to bug him, so I only ever got a few.
This was his eccentric way of wanting his water served. In a human drinking cup, up on a kitchen chair. Eventually he had two water cups on the chair, because as an oldster he went through lots and lots of water and I didn't want him to run out while I was at work.
When a loved person or animal dies, I talk about them a lot. I know that not everybody does that -- some people find it hurts to much to talk about them -- but it's my way of self-soothing. Jay and I talk about his dear stepfather Don a lot. When I talk about departed loved ones, it keeps them here.
