Thank god for Rowley, who woke me up at 7:30 this morning when my alarm clock failed to go off at 6:00. He has this thing whereby he basically screams at the top of his lungs directly in my face with his noxious catfood breath until I'm up and trying to cover my nose and ears at the same time. It sounds like it would suck and it does, especially on sleepy weekends or if I have an overnight guest. But this was a morning when I had an 8:30 meeting at work, and if I had missed that meeting it would truly have been curtains. *takes shrink wrap off new alarm clock* I made the meeting, bed-headed but on time.

Mad props to the one and only amazing Siamese Menace!

Be careful giving Rowley too many mad props for this, or he's liable to think you have an 8:30 meeting every morning now!

Oh, he does this every day, pretty much. How it works is that he will scream in my face whenever the sun comes up, which varies throughout the year, o'course. It always wakes me up, but if I play dead long enough he will eventually get bored and quit.

When I was watching your house Rowley would sleep across my neck and when I'd move when I woke up he would be staring me in the face, like "Hey you, what are you doing?"
