A Good Evening

Brokeback Mountain was so much more than I'd expected. I'd been indifferent to seeing it, being of the "I've seen dozens of gay-themed movies and what's so damn special about this one" mindset. But it is special. There's a moving message in there for anyone who's ever experienced a forbidden love of any kind, even if only in imagination. I'm so glad to have finally seen it, with thanks to pheromone and beowabbit for both joining me.

Afterwards there was some rocking out to Beatlejuice at Johnny D's. It's fun to inject inappropriate dances to Beatles songs, like pogoing and Deadhead swirling. Good times.
