In my household, eensy-weensy spiders die horrible deaths. Bigger ones are carted out of the house by the boyfriend. Because I am--you guessed it--phobic.

I used to kill them, until somebody did my Medicine Cards and it appears my totem animal is the spider. They're also like the patron saint animal of writers, come to find out. So I had to stop killing them. Well, didn't have to, but...

It's bad luck to kill a spider. I mean, if you're arachnophobic, I guess it's unavoidable, but, for the rest of us, they're good luck animals.
