It was Halloween at
pheromone's this past weekend, giant spiders and all. I broke my clothing rule about not wearing white, and wore white for probably the first time in 15 years (not counting my Philip Glass stage costume).
lillibet paid me the sweetest compliment, making me think perhaps I ought to bring back a bit of white from exile. A number of people tried to help me figure out which Roman goddess I was, since I don't really know from mythology. Now a number of people need to help me remember what we decided.
Two people came "with bells on." :-D
Clean-up the next day was actually fun. After all the T@F meetings, I went over to The Beamer's to help clean the party mess up, and there were two other friends also helping so we were an efficient team. Then we poured dry ice in the toilet and hung out in the bathroom for a while, and finally went to the new Spike's in Davis for hot dogs. At one point we were thinking up the most idiotic party themes possible. Keep your ear to the ground for the Decorate-Your-Glasses Party!

I get 5 days off from work this weekend. Awww yeah.

Polite Note To Everyone In The Entire Universe:
If someone needs to tell me something, then they need to tell me. I have many skills, but telepathy is not among them. It doesn't matter whether they think I'll like it or dislike it, both are equally important and there's simply no possible way the data is ever going to transfer from their brain to my brain via radio waves or pollen drifts or courier elves on bikes. Thank you.

Still must get around to seeing An Inconvenient Truth and probably The Omen for comparison to the brilliant original. Will maybe find time for one of those this week. Question: should I be interested in seeing The Da Vinci Code? Did anyone adore it and think my life will be significantly less rich for not having seen it? I haven't read the book, though I do own it...
