Chocolate & Friends
Feb. 11th, 2007 12:52 pmBig applause for
oakenguy and his delectible chocolate tasting to celebrate the expansion of the Willoughby & Baltic Gallery into a marionette theatre and chocolate cafe. Our own Lord Draith made all the chocolates himself, and is now more aptly nicknamed Willy Wonka. I had a German chocolate truffle, a dark chocolate pecan turtle, and bites of
joyeous' chocolate cake. That's more chocolate than I usually have in one sitting (it can make my skin break out if I have too much), but how was I supposed to say no? :-) There was also a marionette show set to the lounge music humor of Richard Cheese. Great company, great chocolate, great time.

This morning I set toast scraps on the balcony and got to watch the squirrels find and eat them. It occurs to me that squirrels don't seem to have a particularly strong sense of smell. They seem to need to be directly on top of something and able to see it visually before they find it. Cuties. I wish they were tame.
