A few weeks after that traumatic birthday when I turned 40, you cast me in your church basement production of Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead, even though I initially blew off the audition because I felt so ancient and out-to-pasture. It was the start of two journeys; one for the little theatre company that could, and one for the best decade of my life so far. You were the match that struck the bonfire that burns merrily to this day and keeps so many hearts warm.
