A Tiny Visitor
Feb. 19th, 2010 09:28 amThis morning I walked into the kitchen to glimpse a little brown mousey dashing across the room from the cat food bowl to somewhere in the baseboard, the entrance to which I can't locate.
It's been several years since I've encountered a mouse in the house. Rowley presented me with a few slain ones on isolated occasions, but they were likely from the basement. He'd know what to do, if he were still among us in this mortal coil. However, I don't expect Benjamin to sign onto this project. If he saw the mouse, he'd just stand there. And watch the mouse. And stand some more.
In absence of a natural predator, I'm unwilling to set kill traps. (It's an iddle bitty mouseykins!) I'm in the market for a catch-&-release trap. This mouse will be repatriated to the Powderhouse Park or somewhere similar. Where to buy said trap(s), wise readers?
