PPT FTW

In all my years as an admin, PowerPoint proficiency has always been an absolute requirement for getting any of the jobs I've had. So, with each job hunt, I would take or retake the tutorial and get my skills all crisp and ready to make awesome decks. Then with each job, I would proceed to never, ever, ever be asked to do a PowerPoint. I have the functional knowledge but very little practical experience because no one ever asks me to do it.

This week I finally got to create one. Just one slide -- a complex org chart created from scratch with shapes, not the lame org charting tool. I'm pretty darn proud of it. I made it all posh and snappy-looking. It will be included in a presentation that the Dean and our whole staff will see. Maybe I should have put my name in the footer. :-)
