I’ve finished all my sewing and shopping for the show. Only two more rehearsals before we open, and I still haven’t met most of the Act I actors. I suppose that shouldn’t bug the crap out of me, but it does. None of them seem to be on LJ, either, or at least I don’t know about them. So Wednesday we’ll meet each other just once before we all perform together. There’s something distinctly strange about that, not unlike an arranged marriage where the bride and groom are strangers at the alter.

But Glass is in fine shape now, and I’m psyched to wear my little white dress for the first time tonight. I had a dream that we did a production of Glass with marionettes, and it was actually so cool that I hope somebody does it somewhere/someday. Thursday was going to be my one night at home this week, but now I’ve been invited to a cocktail party that I don’t want to miss. That and a Sunday BBQ at Todd’s flesh out a weekend of perpetual motion.

Come to the show!

I think your little white dress may rival the stereotypical Little Black Dress for pure hawtness. :-D

You guys rocked tonight. I loved how the different musical tones of your voices mixed; it really came through tonight. And aside from one little glitch it ran really smoothly, pacing wise. It was much cleaner than last week.

No, I'm a f**king pirate!

That glitch was my fault. I mis-counted Jamin's "A"s at one point, which is all it takes to mess things up. The text moves just like gears, and one tooth out of alignment jams the works. Gotta be veeeery careful!

Trotsky is looking fantastic, and you've done an incredible job with it, Aoife. Especially that axe!

The axe was all Elizabeth, and yes, it looks awesome! Thanks, E!
