'Licious dinner at Namaskar last night, and I can't remember the name of the new dish I tried, only it's position on the menu page. Basically it was vegetarian sausage made of korma and ground veggies in a very spicy cream sauce. [livejournal.com profile] beowabbit had spicy lamb with pineapples.

(Will I ever be a good food reviewer, like some of you are? I don't think so. Not when I eat things without even noting their names.)

Poor [livejournal.com profile] beowabbit has a bit of a cold. And poor me couldn't kiss him, aside from chaste little pecks. We joked about kissing through a dental dam. We'll make up for it at the end of the week when he's better.

I can't go to Diesel tonight due to rehearsal. Next week, though.

Work is a silent morgue today, with so many people at an off-site meeting. I might actually get some work done!

Very possibly. I truly can't remember (and we didn't even have any wine). I'll know it from the description when I go back, though.

I think you had Navratan korma rather than Malai kofta, but I’m not sure. Yes, it was a very yummy meal (so good that I didn’t mind missing out on the bread).

I had the lamb Kashmiri.

*Kiss*.

(so good that I didn’t mind missing out on the bread).

Damn cilantro!* We should have just ordered another kind. Even scraping it off with a knife I could still taste it.

*cilantro-free kiss*

For our viewers at home, [livejournal.com profile] beowabbit and I utterly hate cilantro.
Isn't that romantic?

Isn't navratan korma mixed vegetables and nuts in a korma sauce?

Clearly, it's been too long since Indian for me.

This had a creamy redish sauce, like unto tika masala (except not tomato-y, or else [livejournal.com profile] beowabbit would have vanished in a flash of light and smoke. But he actually ate some of this.)

The Indian Things I Ate were shaped like large breakfast sausages. There was definitely korma in them, and something ground up that was probably chickpeas. And bits of green something.

I'll just have to go back again and find it!
