Seeing Much Ado About Nothing on the Common last night was a perfect evening of theatre, homemade bread, blueberries, and three blankets full of friends. Appropriately for T@F, we had a pole right in front of us, but after scholargipsy very diplomatically dealt with a pair of late-arrivers who plopped lawn chairs down at the front of our blanket, we had a relatively unobstructed view of an outstanding performance. I’ll spare you my review so as not to spoil it for you, but I will say that the hilarious blocking and choreography simply rocked, and the feisty actress playing Dogberry stole every scene she was in. Don’t miss this show – it’s CS’s best in years.

see, i like my fun underwear, but i'm not big on thongs. my sister swears by them, but i just can't get comfortable, you know?

plus, i don't know if i could wear a thong in a coed dressing room. you know how modest i am. ;)

I have big issues with thongs. I can't consider them sexy because, lets face it, you have a string wedged all day up your butt crack. That's distinctly un-sexy, anything that lives in a butt crack. If I'm wearing something with which I don't want panty lines, I just don't wear panties. ;-)

My Spanish teacher in high school told our Spanish 3 class that the translation of 'thong' was 'ceda dental' aka dental floss. Even if it's not strictly true, there's some powerful imagery there. I agree, though, commando trumps thongs any day!
